Guy has over 20+ year career covering mining, manufacturing, construction and heavy process industries, working at site operations, business unit and group levels.   Asset management has been a key area of experience with responsibilities as technical advisory, trainer and business improvement specialist in the areas of maintenance, reliability, condition monitoring and hydrocarbon management.

In the past, Guy has held positions in Rio Tinto as Principal Advisor–Asset Management where he led improvements in asset management at Rio Tinto’s mining operations. Whilst in this role, he was Rio Tinto’s global advisory for the condition monitoring workstream and was an active coach and mentor to future and current maintenance and asset management leaders.

Guy has also held roles at Shell including Senior Reliability Engineer (Industrial Lubricants Division), and as a Reliability Engineer and Technical Service Manager in Shell’s Global Services Division delivering consulting reliability engineering, condition monitoring and hydrocarbon management services.

Guy has been a committee member of Standards Australia - ME-087 Machine Condition Monitoring since 2014 and Board Member of Australian Insti`tute of Non-destructive Testing (AINDT) - Condition Monitoring Certification Board since 2008.
