Rob is an accomplished senior business leader, who has specialised in establishing reliable and productive project systems for some of the world’s largest industrial construction projects. During his career, Rob has been lead systems implementation on construction projects for both the owner and EPCM organisations, across 6 continents, in the infrastructure, energy, oil and gas and mining sectors.

In total, Rob has 26 years of experience in Industrial operations and projects. He has 10 years experience working with a world leading EPCM, and a further 13 years experience working with owner organisations ensuring optimal business performance. Rob has led the systems strategy at Rio Tinto for its global major projects and has subsequently overseen the implementation of a large program of work to consistently implement these systems across Rio Tinto’s substantial project portfolio.

As a subject matter expert and leading practitioner on how engineering and construction systems support highly effective project teams, Rob has significant experience in both strategy and implementation across Engineering, Procurement & Contracts, Project Controls and Construction processes and technologies.

With his deep understanding of mining industry, Rob is able to challenge the status quo, and understand how technology trends are able to further improve project output. This coupled with his experience in the organisational change has seen him develop pragmatic roadmaps on how to realise the benefits that can come from the adoption of new technologies.
