Zane is a multi-discipline business leader with a passion for business improvement and helping organizations solve complex problems. During his career, Zane has lead several cross functional teams to deliver asset optimization, functional transformation, organization redesign, capability and capacity uplift projects in both owner representative and line leadership roles, for large scale multi-national organizations and within government.
Zane has 24 years of experience working in industry, from front line leadership to functional support, across all operational levels of an organization. He has amassed over 16 of operational knowledge across various commodities within mining and manufacturing, and more recently gained 8 years experience in project management and strategic consulting for clients including BHP, MMG, Peabody Energy.
As a subject matter expert and leading practitioner on business process design and asset optimization, Zane has significant experience in both strategy and implementation across several organizations and business functions.
With his deep understanding of mining industry, Zane is able to quickly diagnose problems, challenge the status quo, and understand how technology trends are able to further improve project output. This coupled with his experience in the organizational improvement and transformation has seen him develop pragmatic roadmaps on how to realize the benefits that can come from the adoption of new technologies.
